Baseball Federation of Asia

The Baseball Federation of Asia is the governing body of the sport of baseball in Asia. The federation is governed by the International Baseball Federation.

Since the rankings were first released by the International Baseball Federation (IBAF), Cuba has maintained its position as the top national baseball team in the world, and by extension the best team in the Pan American Baseball Confederation.

According to the latest IBAF World Rankings published as of 1 December 2010, the teams of South Korea, Japan and Chinese Taipei representing BFA dominate the world's top five.
